Jan 2021 Update
Well, it was a year. The pandemic effected me in a couple of ways:
1. No conventions. This put a real cramp on demos and not being able to sell from my brand new stall.
2. Super busy with work. I’m really fortunate that I was already working from home, and my day job client and other freelancing has kept me stacked, which meant no real time for writing. This put a bit of a delay on Black Code book 2.
However I’m mostly free of extraneous projects now, so hopefully it’ll be full steam ahead on The Rise of Tartarus Campaign – major writing focus for this, hoping to get it out this year. I’m also getting ready to playtest Game 2 currently codenamed Wasteland, that can be played on it’s own or as an expansion to Black Code.
Hopefully I’ll appear at a couple of conventions when it’s safe to do so, too!

Big News!
Big update. While everyone’s plans are a bit shaken up here’s the “plan” for Black Code. All timelines subject to change.
The next book in the Black Code cycle is “The Rise of Tartarus” which will be a campaign sourcebook detailing the war against the black code and filling in more detail about the world. Due out Summer 2020.
Once that’s out I’ll get onto the next book which is tentatively titled “Trends” that will be a bumper collection of gear, TAGs, a new frame type (Nanoform), alternate character generation options, rules hacks, etc. Due out 2021.

Black Code at Con-Tingency 2019
I’ll be at Con-Tingency from the 23rd – 27th again this year running Black Code sessions every day.

One of my favourite projects over the last year or so is finally available. Written by Max Bantleman and Greg Stephens, Hidden Realms is a HUGE tome of adventure pitched towards a younger audience. Games on Demand @ UKGE
Last year I had a total blast running Games on Demand at UK Games Expo last year for Lloyd Gyan, and it would be rude not to do it again!
Friday 1st June till Sunday 3rd June at the Birmingham NEC Hilton.
2 hour slots, all day for three days is a little bit crazy… but it’s what we do.

Black Code @ Con-Tingency
Had a great time at Con-Tingency. I ran 7 slots of Black Code (including a couple of late nighters) and had an absolute blast.
